Hello everyone!
Today is an inclement weather day (snow day). We will not meet on Google Meet. You are responsible for completing the work that is being assigned on your own. I will be answering emails (jonathan.carr@yrdsb.ca) and private comments all day (until 3:40pm) if you need help at any point.

Math - Under "Unit #14 - Percents" please complete "Your Turn Task - Estimating Benchmark Percents". You can use slides #1-5 on the JAMBOARD and the "What You've Learned" page & the Answer Page as TOOLS to help you. Please use the TOOLS to help you do your best! :) This is due tomorrow.
Drama - You have been working on your puppet shows. Please collect any materials from home that you want to use to make your puppets. You can bring these to school tomorrow and store them there. Please bring a bag to place your materials in.
Literacy - Yesterday we learned, and practiced, using proper grammar and punctuation for dialogue/quotes in our stories. Today, please do the following (it is ALL due tomorrow)....
1) Use THIS LESSON to revise your stories and make sure that all of your quotations follow proper dialogue/quotation rules.
2) Please review the following lessons and and revise your stories to make sure that you have the proper grammar and punctuation taught in the videos....

Math - Your Turn Task - Estimating Benchmark Percents. (Due tomorrow).
Literacy - All revisions assigned from today (see above) must be completed and applied to your narrative story. (Due tomorrow).
Signed Work - Please show your parents/guardians your marked work and then return the form signed. Please have them sign to show that they saw each mark. (Due tomorrow).
Science - Task #4 is due on Friday. (Due Friday)
Drama - Bring in materials from home that you want to use for your puppet show. Remember, you are not being marked based on the quality of your puppets, but it is fun to make them :)
Weekend Math - Each weekend, I would like you to please take a little bit of time to practice some Math. Here are the steps to follow....
1. Go to "Extra Math Support" (found under "Math" section of Google Classroom).
2. Choose at least one resource to review & practice.
3. Each weekend, choose a different resource. This will help you continue to develop deeper mathematical understanding.
