Thursday December 18, 2014

Good evening ladies & gentlemen,

It is always important to make sure that you are letting your parents know what you have been learning in school.  Some of the topics you can tell them about is as follows:

-Examining media texts to identify the purpose, audience, implied/overt messages and point of view.

-Data Management - creating and conducting surveys, and then using the results to create graphs and draw conclusions about what the data is showing us.

-Oral Communication - Examining presentations to determine the strategies people use, or should have used, to make their messages meaningful and easier to understand.

I look forward to celebrating the start of Christmas break with everyone tomorrow!  Please feel free to bring in any snacks that you would like to donate for the class to enjoy.  This is completely voluntary.  Some food has already been purchased to provide everyone with a little snack, but the more we have, the more you can enjoy :)

The only homework for tonight is to complete any work that is due, such as:
-Math graph & PSA
-Grade 4 Social Studies Artistic Drawing
-Art Radial Symmetry Assignment.

Have a great night!
