Good evening ladies & gentlemen,
You all did a really great job with your debates today. I enjoyed seeing everyone use their volume, pitch, pace and tone of voice to persuade the audience. We did not get around to continuing with short division due to our debates and our discussion on what it means to do your best. We may have some time tomorrow to do a little extra short division practice. I would like to encourage you to show your parents what you have learned about short division. I would also encourage you to share with them what we discussed today in class regarding doing your best. Remember, knowledge grows little by little as you try your best to learn from every lesson your teachers teach at school. I'm proud of you all. You are a great group of students.

Tomorrow is Hansen Palooza! It starts right after school, so please make sure that you remember to make arrangements with your parents for when you are going to attend, if you are in fact attending. If you are choosing to present your math game then you should probably not go home right after school to make sure that you are ready to begin at 4pm. Good evening ladies & gentlemen,
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU TELL YOUR PARENTS THAT TRACK & FIELD TOMORROW HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO A POOR WEATHER FORECAST. We are waiting to hear whether it will be rescheduled for Wednesday or Thursday.
You have a multiplication quiz on Friday and your biographies due on Monday. Please make sure that you don't leave them until the last minute. Everyone should be close to being complete their biographies at this point. I will provide you with a lot of time to work on them tomorrow. Please make sure that you are using your checklist so that you know for certain that you have completed everything needed.
