Attention Parents
The following are 3 videos we watched today in class on internet safety.  I strongly recommend all students to re-watch each with their families and discuss.  Regardless, I felt parents would likely appreciate being able to see these.

Geography - Landforms charts (due Wednesday)

Grade 8 Pay it Forward Drive - The grade 8's are collecting gently used clothes and shoes for the Salvation Army.  This is a tradition of the grade 8 graduating class.  Any donations are greatly appreciated, and it is an initiative that you can look forward to being a part of next year. :)

World Autism Day - Is on Tuesday.  Students are encouraged to wear blue in support.  There will also be a "change for change" collection where students can bring in change to raise money and show support.

Missing Assignments - MUST BE DONE BY THE END OF MARCH BREAK
I am still missing some Health Tracking Assignments and some History Summative Task Assignments.  Please make sure that you have handed these in.  If you are not sure if you have, the best thing to do is to make sure that you have handed them in on Google Classroom.  If in doubt, just make sure they are handed in on Classroom.  I would like these done by the end of March Break.  If you are on vacation and cannot get them done, please have your parents write a note to explain.  I want you to enjoy your vacations, but these assignments were due before the break and are now late.  Thank you.

Golden Garbage Can Announcements - THESE START TOMORROW!! Please see the homework board in the classroom to know which day you present.  It is your responsibility to make sure that you and your group are prepared to present your announcement.  YOU ALSO NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU SHOW UP TO PRESENT!

Math - 80% of the students in the class were girls.......Create as many ratios as possible from this statement.  Please remember to that 80:100 is a possibility, but we are looking for ratios that are smaller and could be more meaningful to a regular-sized class of students.  (Due tomorrow)
