*Snow Valley - please have the new waivers signed & returned.  These are now late.  We have students in our class who have not returned them.  If they are not returned Monday, then you are unable to go on the trip, and you lose your money.  This is important!  You have had lots of time to return the form.  If you lost the form, please write a letter saying you have permission to go on the next electives trip (February 6th)

Some students received vaccinations today.  Notes went home from York Region Public Health for all students, regardless of whether they received the vaccination or not.  Please make sure these notes are given to parents.

*Monday is winter electives.  Please be at school by 8:15am and arrange a ride for around 4:15pm when we get home.  Please make sure that you refer to the note that went home Wednesday evening about the make up day for our first electives day.

Inclement weather and bus cancellations affected our Winter Electives today. We are looking to reschedule.  Once we have all the details, we will share them with you.  The outing scheduled for Monday, January 16th (including the activities your child chose for the 16th) will proceed as planned.  The activities your child chose for the 10th will take place at a later date to be determined.

Happy New Year!  I hope you all had a terrific break :)

Please remember that tomorrow is winter electives.  Please make sure you come dressed for the weather and that you have enough food & drink for the day.  A note was sent home today with additional information.  Please be at school tomorrow by 8:15am.  Buses will return around 4:15pm.  Please make transportation arrangements with your parents to get home once we arrive back at school.  We don't want anyone having to wait at the school.

Math - Please follow the steps below (due Wednesday):r
1.  Please create a square or rectangle on your Cartesian Coordinate System.  The plot points need to be even numbers.  Please label your points (i.e., A(2,-2) )

2. Please research what similar shapes are (online or textbook).  Please create on your grid a shape that you think is similar to the original shape you just created.  You need to be able to explain why you think the shape is similar.
