Monday October 31, 2016

Good evening ladies & gentlemen,

Any students who are available on Wednesday morning are asked to please come to the snack table at around 8:45am for our walk to school festivities.  We need help handing out apples and helping younger students filling out their ballots.  Thank you in advance!!

Please remember that you can get updates on what we have accomplished throughout the week on our Twitter account.  The link is www.twitter.com/jonathanwcarr1  (you may need to copy and paste the link into your web browser in order to access the page).

Tonight's homework is as follows:

History - Your assignment is to become an expert on the info on four of the pages from the list we were researching in class.  By "expert", I mean that you need to have notes which explain very clearly how the topics on those page help answer our "big question" from class (The French were the first to settle in Canada.  How did we go from having land ruled by France to having British ties?)  (Due Thursday November 3).

Art - Good copy due November 10

French - Rubrics signed & rough copy and self-editing (Due Monday)

*We are holding our annual "We Scare Hunger Food Drive".  Any non-perishable donations for the local food bank are greatly appreciated.  There is a competition to see which class in our school brings in the most items :)

*The Eco-Team will be selling school water bottles in the front foyer at morning recesses next week.  The cost is $10.  Students are allowed to have water bottles on their desks during class time so that they can remain hydrated and alert.

Have a great evening!
