 Good evening everyone :)

Any students who may be fasting, please let Mr. Carr know if there is anything that you need while fasting.  This can be extra time to complete assignments, a place to go during snack and lunch, etc..  Please just let me know :)

Homework Catch Up - As many students have been away lately, for a variety of very good reasons, we will be having a homework catch up period tomorrow (Thursday).  I do not want student penalized for being away - especially when those reasons are very good reasons!

Math - Students who got less than 4 out of 6 on the Fractions quiz, please come see Mr. Carr at morning recesses.  We will work together and get you prepared to retake the quiz.  Please remember, it's okay if you struggled, but we can keep learning and figure it out :)  

Literacy - In class we completed the learning on slide #8 of the Stress & Anxiety Unit slideshow.  Please make sure that you have completed your learning for these slides.  A reflection to consider... is your plan for recording your learning working for you?  Do you need to ask Mr. Carr for advice?  (Due Friday)

Geography - Global Settlement Task presentations will be on Friday April 12th.  (Due Friday)

Science - On Monday, we will complete the last question of the Science test.  This is the question on global warming from Task #4.  You can use your review sheet to prepare.  (Due Monday)

Geography - "What is Quality of Life?" assignment is due Thursday April 18th. (Due Thursday April 18th).

Math - Tomorrow you will be provided with 15 minutes to complete the calculations we worked on today in class.  We worked on determining the probability of each player winning.  It can be found on THIS SLIDE.   If you were absent, you can join a group tomorrow, but feel free to think about how you would record the 256 different options for winning the game.  Please don't spend more than 15 minutes on this.  (Due tomorrow)

Literacy - Please complete questions A & B only from slide #16 of the Biography Unit Slideshow.  As discussed in class, there are many different ways you can approach answering these questions.  You can choose the approach that you believe is the most meaningful way to reflect on your overt & implied messages.  (Due tomorrow)

Monday's Solar Eclipse- This is a reminder that Monday is a half day.  Students will be dismissed at 12:40pm.

1.  Attached a good copy of your story on Google Classroom.  

2.  Attach a voice recording using Vocaroo.  Please do not use your name as this is not a YRDSB tool.  Simply record your story - reading it the way you want the story to sound.
