Art - 8.5 x 11 picture that you would like to draw (due tomorrow)

Science Review

The following is a guide to help you study for your Energy Unit Science Quiz.  Extra help sessions will be available at recess for those who would like it.

 

a.  Define the various types of energy and provide an example of each.

b.  Explain how one form of energy can be transferred into another form of energy.

c.  Be able to explain why the energy from the sun is so important to our world. 

d.  What are the different types of power plants and what are the different ways that we produce energy?  (look at power plants and pros and cons charts)

e.  What do all types of energy generation have in common? 

f.  What are the pros and cons of renewable and non-renewable resources? (pros and cons chart)
