To all those celebrating Christmas, I wish you a very Merry Christmas!  

And I wish all families a wonderful holiday season and hope you have a very restful break full of tons of joy!

My hope is that everyone is able to enjoy their 2 week break, and not think about school at all.  However, if any of these assignments below are not yet complete, please take the time to complete them prior to returning in January....

Literacy - Please check the private comments for the "WOW Unit" on Google Classroom.  If you received a note saying that task #1 was incomplete, you have a failing mark.  It is your responsibility to come see me at morning recess so that I can assess this for you.  Thank you.  (Due - late)

Science - Please complete Task #7 - Human Genome Project. (Due)

Math - For Lesson #7 - Rate of Change on Scatter Plots, please complete Review Questions #1-3 (2 correct each), and then questions 1-7.  (Due).  

Literacy - By now, everyone is expected to have their "WOW Presentations" planned so that when we return from the break you are ready to record.  Please use the organizers to plan your presentation.  (Due)

History - Task D - The Indian Act, Treaties, Residential Schools (Due)

Dance - Please complete the elements of dance notes that you worked on in your groups today in class.  It is at the bottom of this document (Due)

Literacy - Please choose your TOPIC, as well as your PURPOSE & AUDIENCE for the "WOW Presentation Final Task".  (Due)

Literacy - Please complete THIS TASK.  As discussed in class, please identify the "WOW" strategies you find in the video that you choose to analyze.  Then, for each WOW strategy, please answer the 3 questions in the chart.  You can be brief with your answers (3-4 sentences) for each.  Please try and find at least 6 different "WOW" strategies. (Due).

Dance - The Dance Research Task is due on December 12th.  You will have approximately 4 class periods to work on it in your groups.  (Due - please be prepared with your group to present).

History - Task C - Louis Riel completed (Due)
