Good evening everyone!
On Thursday, students are welcome to wear ORANGE SHIRTS in recognition of THE NATIONAL DAY OF TRUTH & RECONCILIATION. If you do not have an orange shirt, please do not worry. This will be a day where we will take time to show respect by listening, learning and thinking about the lived experiences of our Indigenous communities. We will reflect upon the reality that every child matters. As always, students are encouraged to discuss with family members what they have learned, and are encouraged to show respect by asking thoughtful questions which will allow them to continue learning about the importance of reconciliation.
