Homework for Thursday February 24th & Friday February 25th

 Hello everyone!

I will be away on Friday February 25th.  Therefore, the following is your homework for both Thursday & Friday.  



Please find your homework below...


Literacy - 300 word Spoken Word that we started Thursday in class.  Please complete.  (Due tomorrow - Friday February 25th)


Literacy - You will be provided class time on Friday to complete this.  Please complete the reflection question on for your "WOW" presentation.  The question is found in THIS DOCUMENT, but you should have your own copy of it.  (Due Tuesday).


Literacy - You will be provided with time on Friday to complete this.  Please complete your 300 word Spoken Word Poem that was assigned to you on Friday.  Please remember to think about using the following strategies.... (Due Monday)

*Rhyme

*Alliteration

*Metaphor

*Simile

*Repetition

*Descriptive language

*As you write, think about how you would want this performed.  (like Prince EA, “Touchscreen”, etc.)


Math - Unit 12 Test will be on Friday March 4th.  We will set the exact date once we have completed the final lesson of the unit.  In the meantime, you can begin studying by using the review found on slides 17 & 18 of THIS JAMBOARD.  (Test Friday March 4th)


Drama - Please complete the plan for your puppet show by completing the work on slide 8 of the Puppet Show Project.  (Due Wednesday March 2nd).


Literacy - The RECORDING of the  "WOW" presentation assignment is due on Thursday February 24th.  You must have your "WOW" presentation recorded and attached to the "WOW" assignment on Google Classroom.  Options for recording... (Due tomorrow)

1. Online Voice Recorder

2.  Camera on your computer

3.  Another option that you are aware of.  (Don't use any tools that you don't have permission from your family to use).


Social Studies - Please complete your rough copy for your postcard.  Please see Mr. Carr so that he can give you a postcard to write on. (Due)


Art - Zentangle Art is due next class.  Please make sure what you submit reflects the significant amount of time you were given to work on it.  (Due - late)


Literacy - Please make sure you are done the following for the story you are writing....(Due - late)

1)  Your story arc is complete

2)  Your entire story has been written (beginning to end)

3)  You have begun elaborating on the important parts of your story.  This is what we spent a lot of time learning & practicing this past week. (See lesson #9 on Google Classroom.)
