Tuesday May 31, 2022

 Good evening everyone,

A reminder that THURSDAY IS A P.A. DAY.  We DO have school on Friday

 Please find your homework below...

Jump Rope for Heart - Our event date is June 21st.  If your family would like you to raise funds for the Heart & Stroke Foundation, you can do the following....

Go to www.jumpropeforheart.ca and click the red join us button in the top corner.

Social Studies - Please ensure that both PART A & PART B for Task #2 are completed.  Please make sure that both are attached on Google Classroom by 10am Thursday morning.  (Due Thursday)

Literacy - Good copies of letters are due on Tuesday.  Please make sure steps 1-6 on THIS SLIDESHOW are completed and at school.  Please remember that your letter should not look like a "stereotypical" letter.  You want your letter to be creative, strategic & stand out.  (Due - late)

French - Practice lines for your play.  You can make cue cards.  Please begin bringing in materials to make props/costumes.  Presentations begin May 31st.

Art - THIS CULMINATING TASK is due Tuesday June 7th.   You DO NOT need to do the work on slide 18. (Due Tuesday June 7th)

Social Studies - Letter to the Prime Minister task (Due - late)

Weekend Math - Each weekend, I would recommend taking a little bit of time to practice some Math.  Here are the steps to follow....

1.  Go to "Extra Math Support" (found under "Math" section of Google Classroom).

2.  Choose at least one resource to review & practice.

3. Each weekend, choose a different resource.  This will help you continue to develop deeper mathematical understanding.

Extra Resources to Support Your Learning

Homework Checklist- If you are having a hard time getting your homework completed, THIS CHECKLIST can help.  A copy of it is also found under "Important Information" on Google Classroom.

Math Extra Practice - There are a series of lessons under the "Math" section of Google Classroom.  The title is Extra Math Support.

Have a great evening everyone!
