Good morning everyone,

Announcement
For any students who are observing Ramadan, please do not hesitate to let me know if completing your online assignments is a challenge.  It is my goal to make sure that school never interferes.  My priority is to ensure that the lessons I provide allow Ramadan to remain your priority.  Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help make sure that you are able to maintain your priorities.  Please let me know anything that you need, or anything that I can do.  Thank you, everyone :)

Literacy
- Please complete the assignment "Types of Texts - Creating your own text".
- It should only take about 10 minutes.

Science
- Please complete Ms. Glanfield's Science task.
- This should take 30 minutes.

Geography
- Please complete question #1 ONLY for "Chapter #9 - Agriculture" task
- This should take approximately 20-30 minutes.
French
- Please complete French work for Mme Murgan on her blog.
- This should take approximately 15 minutes.
Music
- Mr. Alexander has created a Google Classroom for you.

- This should take you approximately 10 minutes per day.

- Please complete the "Journals Revision Task" which was assigned May 4th (see May 4th blog).  It appears that many people were not able to complete this, so I would like to give another opportunity today.
- Otherwise, there is no Literacy assigned today.

Math
- Please complete "Equivalent Ratios (Part 1)"
- This should take approximately 45 minutes.

French
- Please complete French work for Mme Murgan on her blog.
- This should take approximately 15 minutes.
Music
- Mr. Alexander has created a Google Classroom for you.
- The class code is rda7tka
- This should take you approximately 10 minutes per day.

Free Choice/Catch Up
- Please use the last 45 minutes to catch up on any work.
- You can complete the Literacy "Journals Revision Task", Geography, Science, French, Music, Health, Phys Ed .... Anything you could use time to complete.

Good morning everyone :)



 Announcement
I decided to take down the question documents that were previously at the bottom of each blog post.  They weren't being used, which is completely fine.  Everyone is preferring to use comments on the Classroom documents, private comments and email.  These are all great ways to ask questions, so please continue to ask all the questions you desire through these methods.



Today's Assignments

Literacy
- Please read the important announcement on the Literacy page.  Thank you for checking the blog :)

 Literacy
- Please spend 45 minutes doing research for "Let your curiosity guide you task".
- By the end of today, I would like everyone to please make it your goal to have some significant research done.  By "significant" I don't mean a certain number of words or sources, I just mean that you have notes that show that you have been actually learning about the topics you have been researching.  Please don't stress about this, I just want to see that you are having fun, and learning something too :)

Math
- Please complete "What are Ratios (part 2)"
- This should take approximately 45 minutes.

French
- Please complete French work for Mme Murgan on her blog.
- This should take approximately 15 minutes.
Music
- Mr. Alexander has created a Google Classroom for you.

Unfortunately, the "car parade" that I posted on the blog yesterday is having to be cancelled.  The school board is asking all schools to make sure that they do not engage in non-essential travel.  Sorry about this.  I was excited to do it!  Maybe another time :)

Health
- Please spend 45 minutes doing research for the "Healthy Eating Research Task".
- Today is your last day for research.  Next time Health is assigned we will complete the assignment, but today is just about getting more research.
- Reminder...

  1. Through your research, you should be looking for answers to the following questions…
    1. Why does healthy eating really matter?
    2. What prevents me, and other people, from eating as healthy as possible?
