Math - p. 101 #10 & 13 (due tomorrow)

Literacy - Please complete your blueprint.  Please don't spend more than 20 minutes, just get your final jot notes done (due Thursday)

Literacy - Please complete the following question from the R.A. Dickey biography we read in class (due Thursday):

Why do you think R.A. Dickey listened to the voice in his head that told him to do the wrong thing?  Use details from the text to support your answer.  Hint:  Remember, the reasons are much deeper than just the fact that he didn't want to go home.

History - Please answer the question below.  It will be handed in and marked.  You will be marked on your ability to answer the question by providing reasons for your thinking using details from our discussions in class to support your answer.  Remember, we discussed issues that a First Nations student would have to deal with if they were to come to Rick Hansen PS (things they would struggle with).  (Due tomorrow)

The First Nations people were here in Canada first.  The land was taken from them.  Is it enough for our government to tell them that they can live in designated "reserves"?  What do you think should be done to make things right?  (In answering the question, make sure you think about how alone some First Nations people probably feel because their way of life is so different from the way many of us choose to live.  We discussed these issues in class when talking about the challenges a First Nations student would face if they came to Rick Hansen PS).

Music - "Thor's Hammer" bars 11-19

Science - Look at assignment sheet from Mrs. Foster for upcoming assignments.  They are all included on the sheet that was handed out.

Friday Folders signed and returned.
