Literacy - Please notice the following changes in due dates....
1. First Nations Presentations & Commercials will be presented on Wednesday. Please make sure you plan ahead and do not leave anything to the last minute. We have had plenty of class time to work on both, so you should not have any problems getting this done. Please make sure that you are following the rubrics for both assignments on Google Classroom. For the commercial, please make sure that you are able to explain what strategies you used from the "strategies chart" we used to examine the Gatorade commercial. (due Wednesday)
Literacy - Please have your letter for your hockey card written for Monday. For those who have been absent, we have decided to use the questions you answered in your rough copy to guide you in writing a letter to the class telling them about yourself. Please have this letter written for Monday. Please remember that this letter is about you. Please do not ask them any questions at this point. (Due Monday)

Winter Elective Forms -
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Thank you for signing your child up for our Winter Electives program. We have received an overwhelming response.
Please note that Friday, December 8th is the last day to return Winter Electives registration forms. Our grade 4-8 students will be given the opportunity to enjoy two, fun-filled days up at Snow Valley in Barrie, Ontario (Tuesday, January 9th and Wednesday, January 17th).
If you have not already done so, please sign up your child for skiing, snowboarding, or tubing. Registration packages outlining all the details have been sent home with every student.
For those of you who have registered, please ensure that you have also submitted your payment. Registration is a two-step process. In addition to the permission forms you filled out, you also need to make your payment via SchoolCashOnline, cheque, or cash. To date, we have received a handful of registration forms with no accompanying payment. Please ensure that your payments have been made (or will be made by December 8th) so that your child's registration is secured.
