Partner Class - Please begin bringing in small items from your cultural heritage that you can share with our partner class.  Thank you for all who have brought in items already.


Math - Test Monday (Please notice change...was originally Tuesday)


Math - Please complete a Cartesian Grid (see lesson 7.1 in textbook if you need a reminder).  The original shape to be plotted is...
A(4,2)
B(8,2)
C(4,5)
D(8,5)

Then go 3 down, 4 left (plot the points)

Then go 4 right, 2 down (plot the points)...What is the new location of the shape? 


Art - Rough sketch of art assignment and bring in any materials you may want to use (due Monday)

Literacy - Please notice the following changes in due dates....
1. First Nations Presentations & Commercials will be presented on Wednesday.  Please make sure you plan ahead and do not leave anything to the last minute.  We have had plenty of class time to work on both, so you should not have any problems getting this done. (due Wednesday)

Winter Elective Forms -

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Thank you for signing your child up for our Winter Electives program.  We have received an overwhelming response.  

Please note that Friday, December 8th is the last day to return Winter Electives registration forms. Our grade 4-8 students will be given the opportunity to enjoy two, fun-filled days up at Snow Valley in Barrie, Ontario (Tuesday, January 9th and Wednesday, January 17th).

If you have not already done so, please sign up your child for skiing, snowboarding, or tubing.  Registration packages outlining all the details have been sent home with every student. 

For those of you who have registered, please ensure that you have also submitted your payment.  Registration is a two-step process.  In addition to the permission forms you filled out, you also need to make your payment via SchoolCashOnline, cheque, or cash.  To date, we have received a handful of registration forms with no accompanying payment.  Please ensure that your payments have been made (or will be made by December 8th) so that your child's registration is secured.
