Good evening ladies & gentlemen,

Today, Mr. Yoshida led students through a climate survey in regards to how the school is doing in regards to faith, gender, race, 2SLGBTQ+, socioeconomic status, mental health, indigenous reconciliation and abilities.  The purpose of the discussion was to hear from students how they feel we as a school are doing at representing and respecting students in these areas.  I share this on the blog because all students are encouraged to be discussing with their parents what we discussed.  It is important that families are heard when discussing these topics.

Please find your homework below....

Hansen Palooza - TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE! :)  They can be ordered on School Cash Online.

Hansen Palooza - Please ask your parents if they are able to volunteer. on June 8th.

Hansen Palooza - Our class will be creating a classroom basket for auction.  A note went home with more details.  Please consider donating, as Hansen Palooza is a huge fundraiser for our school and provides funding that goes right back to providing resources that support you as students.  School Council is asking for items that cost approximately $10...or you can also choose to make a $10 donation if you would rather.....as of right now, we are quite short on donations.  Any donations are very much appreciated :)

Literature Circles - Discussion #4.  See Google Classroom for everything you need.  Please make sure you review everything to make sure all expectations met.  You will not be able to participate if you are not prepared. (due Friday)....You need to make sure all your notes from all the jobs, assignments, figurative language, syntheses, etc. (everything that you have had to prepare for each session) is complete and together to show Mr. Carr.  I want to be able to see everything together and organized in one place.  This must also be done for Friday.

French - Assignment (due June 5)

Library Books  - due June 15.  Fees will be applied for books not returned.
