Good evening everyone,

1. Acadians arguments
2. Political cartoon
3. Dance (Monster Mash) along with written reflection
4. Dance research task
5. DRA booklet (this should be in your portfolio)
6. Inspire yourself letter
7. Substance abuse research task

Please find your homework below....

Health - Substance Abuse assignment.  Remember that we are working on being persuasive using "WOW" strategies, and by using lots of convincing details.  Non-obvious arguments are also very important and useful. (Due tomorrow)

Math - Complete your plans for "Health Tracking".  Your tracking system must be complete and ready to begin tracking.  (Due tomorrow)

Math - Math tests signed & corrected (due tomorrow)

Literacy - Tomorrow we will be presenting our announcements.  You will be given more time to practice in class.

Literacy - 3 texts analysed.  You only need to answer the questions in the chart, not the second section.  You are encouraged to choose a variety of texts.  Your first article can be the one you did with your partner in class.  (Due Monday).

Skate Exchange - Is on December 11th.  Please refer to info sheet sent home.

Ross Petty - On Thursday December 13 students will be going to Toronto to see a Ross Petty theatrical performance.  It is asked that students please contribute $5 each for the cost of the bus.  Thank you kindly.

WINTER ELECTIVES ARE BACK!  Our grade 4-8 students will be given the opportunity to enjoy two, fun-filled days up Snow Valley in Barrie, Ontario (Wednesday, January 9th and Thursday, January 24th).  Sign up your child for skiing, snowboarding, or tubing.  Registration packages outlining all the details have been sent home with every student.  Please return your completed forms, and please make your payments using SchoolCashOnline on or before December 7th.

Have a great evening!
