Stress Essays Signed - Please have the rubrics for your stress essay signed and returned for tomorrow.  (Due - late)

Passion Project - This is a reminder that you should be signing out books from the Aurora Library on your passion project.  If you have books of your own from home, you can also use these.  You should always have a text available to you to read on your passion project topic.  I would like students to begin reading their passion project books during silent reading time. (Due)

Passion Project - The following are the expectations for handing in your Passion Project Assignments on Monday. (Due Monday)

Step #1:

-Submit the document you have been using to track all of your learning.  

-You can share your work with me on Google Drive, or submit it on Google Classroom.  
- If you choose to submit it, please wait to submit until you have completed step 2 below.
- If you have already shared it with me on Google Drive, please share it again, as this will make it easier for me to find.  Thank you :)

Step #2:

At the TOP of your tracking document, please respond to the following 4 prompts below.

1. Describe the method you have used to track your learning, insights, thoughts & questions.  
2. Please explain why you find this method to be the best way to track your learning.
3. Provide at least 2 examples of (Text 1) x (Text 2) = (Deeper learning/insights).
4. Please provide a summary of what you have learned through all of your research. Please focus on what you have LEARNED, not what you already knew about your topic.

Geography - Complete Natural Disasters assignment. (Due Wednesday)

Geography - The following is due Wednesday.

1. Read pages 103-115 in the textbook.
2. Complete question #2 on page 115.  In responding to the David Suzuki question, please think about the following....
1. What do you believe ants can teach us about how to responsibly respond to the opportunities that the land gives us?
2. In answering, make sure to use details from the text to support your answer (specifically around how humans have responded to the opportunities the environment has presented - namely irresponsibly).
