Important Announcement
As we have seen in the media, Black communities are experiencing a lot of hurt and are speaking out against the inequities that they face in society.  The York Region District School Board is committed to serving our Black communities and serving as an ally through these difficult times.  For these reasons, they are offering Poetry Slam workshops with renowned Spoken Word artist Dwayne Morgan.  There are online workshops that you can sign up to participate in, and then there will be a Poetry Slam in which you can also choose to participate.  Please click this link to register and learn more.  If you have any questions, please feel free to send them to the following email - iscs@yrdsb.ca

Literacy
- Lesson #3 - Analysing Conventions/Strategies as we prepare to create our own media texts.
- This should take about 1 hour to complete.

- This should take approximately 15 minutes.
