Sometimes you complete your work in class, please see below for ideas on what to do when you complete :)

What you can work on when you complete your work...

1.  Review past work, study & ask for help if needed.

2.  Read silently

3.  Work on homework.

4.  Continue with Passion Project research.

5.  Take a break and refresh your mind by getting off the computer.

6. Go on "My Pathway Planner" (see Guidance section on Google Classroom for more info).

Growth & Development Unit - Please show your parents the "LETTER TO PARENTS" under "HEALTH" on Google Classroom.  This letter shares what we will be learning in Growth & Development this year.  Please have them email me at jonathan.carr@yrdsb.ca if they have any questions.  Thank you so much :)

Diamond Text Reading Submissions - This can be found under today.  If you are interested, please make sure you include the video of you reading (even if you just say "I am a Diamond") and please include the CONSENT FORM.  Please submit by Tuesday.  Thanks!!  (Due Tuesday)


Language - TED TALK VIDEOS DUE FRIDAY.  You will be provided with Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Literacy periods to complete.  Please use THIS SLIDESHOW to guide you in completing the task.  Please ask any questions you have.  (Due Friday May 28th)


History - Please complete Step #2 on slideshow for British Leadership Assignment.  You do not need to start the reflections yet.  You just need to make sure that you know where all your work is for the assignments listed on the slide.  Please ask if you have any questions.  You can email me at jonathan.carr@yrdsb.ca (Due Tuesday June 1)


Science - Please complete questions for Lesson #2 & Lesson #3 from THIS DOC (you do have your own copies of this doc).  (Due Tuesday)


Geography - Please complete the following question in the question document for Chapter #10 - Natural Resources.... Question - Page 208 - Answer question asked (in red ink) under figure 10.12 (info for answer also found on p.208) (Due Wednesday)


Visual Arts - Real Object, 9 Different Perspectives Assignment.  Due Friday May 28th.  You will have 4 periods to work on it.  (Due Friday May 28th)


Talent Show - Please be prepared to share anything that you would like to for our talent show which we will have in June.  You do not need to share anything, but we would love everyone to feel comfortable to share anything they like.  Thank you to those students who have come up with this idea!  This will be fun! :)  Please send any videos that you would like shared to Mr. Carr.  You can share them on Google Drive.  If you prefer, you can also perform something live for the class.
