Sometimes you complete your work in class, please see below for ideas on what to do when you complete :)

What you can work on when you complete your work...

1.  Review past work, study & ask for help if needed.

2.  Read silently

3.  Work on homework.

4.  Continue with Passion Project research.

5.  Take a break and refresh your mind by getting off the computer.

6. Go on "My Pathway Planner" (see Guidance section on Google Classroom for more info).

Growth & Development Unit - Please show your parents the "LETTER TO PARENTS" under "HEALTH" on Google Classroom.  This letter shares what we will be learning in Growth & Development this year.  Please have them email me at jonathan.carr@yrdsb.ca if they have any questions.  Thank you so much :)

Summer Learning Options - Emails have been sent to families.  Here is the LINK to the independent work you can do if you are not doing summer school, or if you are looking for even more practice.  As always, remember to relax this summer! :)

Math - Please complete the summative task and submit.  Thank you :)  (Due tomorrow)  

History - Please complete the 3 questions under "The Durham Report & Act of Union" questions (due Friday)

Geography- Please complete steps 2 & 3 in the questions document for Chapter #10 - Natural Resources.  (Due tomorrow)

Science- The following is due Thursday....

1.  Please watch the video on slide #9.  Please pause the video as you need to in order to make notes in your tracking documents on the MOST IMPORTANT DETAILS.  Do not try to write down everything, just the main ideas.  

2.  Please watch the video on slide #11 and take notes on the main ideas.  This video is a lot shorter than the first.

3.  Please watch the video on slide #12 and take notes on the main ideas.  This video is also shorter.

4.  Please come prepared next day to share your learning so that we can capture all our thoughts on the class Jamboard.  (Due Thursday)

Music- Water Glass Xylophone assignment (due Wednesday)

Talent Show - Please be prepared to share anything that you would like to for our talent show which we will have in June.  You do not need to share anything, but we would love everyone to feel comfortable to share anything they like.  Thank you to those students who have come up with this idea!  This will be fun! :)
