Parent-Teacher Conferences Info
Families can now book times for the evening of Thursday November 18th or the morning of Friday November 19th. Unfortunately we only have 10 minute time slots, so these will certainly go quickly. Please know that I am very happy to arrange additional times to speak. A great option is to continue the conversations via email as it obviously allows for greater flexibility in schedules.
All conferences will be on Google Meet. Please follow these steps below to get into our meeting....
1) Please go to Google Meet through THIS LINK (https://meet.google.com/)
2) Under "Enter a code or nickname" please use this code..... rhpscarr.
3) Please enter the meet and I will invite you into a breakout room once I have completed the parent meeting scheduled prior to our meeting. Thanks so much :)
I am so thankful for the opportunity for us to meet. As always, please remember that my door is always open. I recognize that this meeting is only a 10 minute "check-in". My hope is that we can check-in with each other frequently. With all the interruptions in learning over the last 2 years, it is important that we connect as often as necessary in order to support the academic habits and general academic development of your child.

Progress Reports - Have begun being emailed to families. Please have your families check their emails for your Progress Report.
Homework Checklist- If you are having a hard time getting your homework completed, THIS CHECKLIST can help. A copy of it is also found under "Important Information" on Google Classroom.
Literacy - Final drafts of essays are due Monday. Please remember....
1. I encourage everyone to spend more time going and finding good research to use to support your ideas. You can get these from the Jamboard, the texts we read, and your tracking documents. All are on the Attitude Unit slideshow.
2. Proofread your work for spelling, grammar, etc.
3. Carefully use the rubric (found on final pages of attitude slideshow) to revise your work. (Due Monday)
Math - Unit #5 Test on Probability will be on Wednesday November 24th. Please use this review to help you prepare....
1. The following can all be found on Google Classroom under “Unit #5 - Probability”
2. Review the “What You’ve Learned” pages for Lessons #1, 2, 3, 4. Make sure you understand all the concepts on these pages. They are a review of the concepts for each lesson.
3. Complete the “Your Turn” Tasks for Probability Lessons #1, 2, 3, 4
4. Use the “Your Turn” answer pages to check your work.
5. Go on the Jamboard and complete the questions there. (Due Wednesday November 24th)
Health - Please complete the two questions for the "Health Attitude Assignment". (Due - late)
Art - Logo Task due. I would like to place these up on the classroom wall (with your permission). (Due - late).
Science - Task #3 - Classification of Living Things (Due Tuesday)
Math - It is expected that you are reviewing your multiplication tables (1-11) on a regular basis. Your goal should be to be getting 100% on our practice quizzes by March...but hopefully sooner :) I know you can all do it!
