Good evening everyone, 




Ice Cream sales - Some students have ordered ice cream which will start being delivered on Fridays.  If there is any left over, there will be the option to purchase some for $2.

Summer High School Courses - For anyone who may be interested in taking grade 9 courses over the summer, please see the resource placed on Google Classroom under "High School Information".


Math - If you are taking the Fractions Retest, it will be on Wednesday.  Please see me at morning recesses if you would like extra help :)  (Quiz Wednesday)


Literacy - Please complete the task described below, making sure to answer teh reflection questions in step d.  This work is from THIS SLIDE in our Spoken Word Slideshow... (Due Wednesday)

  1. Write about anything you desire.

  2. Use the push your thinking prompts (if needed).  The goal is to just keep writing.

  3. Come back in 30 minutes.  Feel free to take a short break in between.  Have fun!

  4. Reflect on your writing.  What have you discovered?  What can you discover? Did you develop any new ideas as you were writing?


Literacy - Complete THESE 3 QUESTIONS (Due tomorrow)


Drama -  We are creating PUPPET SHOWS.  To prepare for next class please do the following.... (Due Thursday)

1.  Make sure your script is complete.  Please ensure it follows a story arc, and meets the other expectations found on the slide show (link above).

Geography - For Task #3, please complete steps #3 & 4 for Tuesday April 4th.  You will have class time to work on it.  (Due tomorrow)


Literacy - Your next draft for your narrative story is due April 3rd.  Please remember to use the Narrative Writing Checklist.  When you submit your story, you need to be prepared to explain how you have revised your story to meet each of the criteria in the checklist.  Due to the detail required to meet the expectations of this checklist, you will have 2 weeks to complete the revisions.  (Due - late)
