  Good evening everyone,

Please find this evening's homework below....

Silent Reading - Please make sure you always have at least 2 books here at school so that you can silently read.  Please make sure they are books that you are excited to read.  Please let me know if you need help making selections :)

High School Important Info!! - 

- There is a NEW transfer form on the Google Classroom under "High School Information".  Please see this if you are considering going to a high school other than Williams or St. Max.

- Course selections will be occurring from February 15th - 23rd, 2024.  More details to follow, but you are encouraged to go onto MyPathway Planner and begin looking at courses.

P.A. Day - A reminder that tomorrow (January 19th) is a P.A. Day.

Winter Electives Forms - These are due on FRIDAY.  Please see Mr. Carr if you have any questions.  (Due Friday)

Literacy - Please complete the Bill Gates Task on the Learning How to Learn Slideshow.  (Due)

Literacy - Your WOW Presentations (Final Task) are due on Wednesday January 17th.  Please make sure that you have followed all the steps in the assignment instructions.  (Due).

Portfolio - Please have signed and returned.  (Due )

Math - Please complete at least 3 correct for Review Questions #1 & 2.  A reminder... when you multiply or divide by a negative number, you need to flip the inequality symbol.  (Due Monday)

Literacy - Please complete THIS 150 work descriptive writing task.  It is okay to stop at around 150 words - you do not need to complete the entire story.  (Due Monday)

Literacy - Please complete the remaining answers from the Satire & Irony task.  (Due Monday)

Cursive Writing - Please have your booklets completed by January 22nd.  We will then be moving on to practicing outside of our booklets.  (Due Monday).

Health - For Lesson #2 - Violent Behaviour, please have your group "WOW" presentation prepared and ready to share with the class.  (Due Wednesday)

Dance - In class we are working on creating a Dance Presentation.  This is due on Tuesday January 23rd.  This is more than enough time to get your presentation created and ready to present.  (Due Tuesday).

History - Please complete THIS TASK.  It is found under Task D.  The text is challenging, so please see Mr. Carr if you are struggling in any way. (Due Thursday January 25th)
