Please find this evening's homework below....

Silent Reading - Please make sure you always have at least 2 books here at school so that you can silently read.  Please make sure they are books that you are excited to read.  Please let me know if you need help making selections :)

High School Important Info!! - If you are not planning on attending Sir G.W. Williams S.S., it is important that you let Mr. Carr know as soon as possible.  Here is some important info for you to be aware of....

- February 2nd is the due date for letting the YRDSB know that you are not planning on returning to the YRDSB, and are wanting to go to a different YRDSB school  other than Williams.  There is an electronic form that is due by that due date.  Please see Mr. Carr if you need that form.

- If you are planning to attend a different school than Williams, please make sure you have reached out to that school directly.  They will inform you of anything that you need to be doing.  If you have not done so already, please do this ASAP!

- Course selections will be occurring from February 15th - 23rd, 2024.  More details to follow.

P.A. Day - A reminder that this Friday (January 19th) is a P.A. Day.

Winter Electives Forms - These are due on February 9th.  Please see Mr. Carr if you have any questions.  (Due February 9th)

Math - The following was assigned today in class.  Please complete....  (Due tomorrow)

A)  For lesson #2 (Solving One-Step Equations using Algebra), please complete the Review questions #1-4.  Please complete at least 3 correct for each.

B) Next, go to lesson #3 (Solving Two-Step Equations Using Algebra) on the Student Unit Plans.  Please complete Review questions #1-3.  Please complete at least 3 correct for each.

Literacy - Please complete the Bill Gates Task on the Learning How to Learn Slideshow.  (Due tomorrow)

Literacy - Your WOW Presentations (Final Task) are due on Wednesday January 17th.  Please make sure that you have followed all the steps in the assignment instructions.  (Due).

Portfolio - Please have signed and returned by Thursday.  (Due tomorrow)

Literacy - Please complete the remaining answers from the Satire & Irony task.  (Due Monday)

Health - For Lesson #2 - Violent Behaviour, please have your group "WOW" presentation prepared and ready to share with the class.  (Due Wednesday January 24th)

Cursive Writing - Please have your booklets completed by January 22nd.  We will then be moving on to practicing outside of our booklets.  (Due Monday January 22nd).

Dance - In class we are working on creating a Dance Presentation.  This is due on Tuesday January 23rd.  This is more than enough time to get your presentation created and ready to present.  (Due Tuesday January 23rd).
