Goodevening everyone,
Thank you to all who have donated to the food drive. It is greatly appreciated. We have been talking a lot in class about the value in helping others, and how it makes us feel great inside when we do something to brighten someone else's day. I always find it extremely encouraging when I see students take steps to put into practice these values.
Here is tonight's homework....
Grade 5:
Math - students are expected to be practicing their multiplication tables. Tonight they are encouraged to take one number that they have difficulty with and make their best effort to memorize it. They should be practicing their multiplication tables every night.
Literacy - Read 30 minutes and complete Reader's Notebook using as much detail as possible in their work.
-Complete the inference page that was assigned over the weekend. (Unfortunately many students did not complete this homework over the weekend).
-Complete revise and edit activity (Rick Hansen paragraph)
Grade 6:
Social Studies - Leadership questions
Math - Mr. D question
