Good evening everyone,

Please find the homework below, along with last night's message.  I will be including this message for the next few posts to ensure that all families have a chance to see it.  Thanks so much :)

Good evening,

As many are now aware, a letter was sent home with students tonight to serve as an official introduction of myself, as well as to make everyone aware of this blog which will serve as a means to keep the lines of communication open between school and home.  It is my hope that all students and parents will check this blog nightly so as to ensure that their child(ren) are prepared for class each day.  As well, this blog will serve as an alternative to agendas this year.  Students are still welcome to keep an agenda if they feel that it would be of benefit to them, but this blog will be the most accurate method of keeping track of homework.

Something I did not include on the "Getting to Know You" form was my email address.  My door is always open, and I understand that often the easiest method of communication is through email.  My email address is jonathan.carr@yrdsb.edu.on.ca.  For those who feel comfortable, please feel free to include your email address on the form mentioned above so that I too can seek to keep the lines of communication open.



Tuesday's Homework:

Literacy - Similes page (due tomorrow)

-Math - page 9, #6 in textbook (due tomorrow)

-Health - Exit Card (due tomorrow)

-"Getting to Know You" form (please return at earliest convenience).

-Gym form signed and completed (Due)

-Please bring a novel to school for silent reading (Due)

-Terry Fox Form signed and returned

-All forms sent home signed and returned (Due)


-Music - Duotang or binder brought in for music notes, and title page completed (due Friday)

-Arts program permission form (Due).
