Good evening everyone,

Please make sure you take the opportunity to go onto the Google Drive and take a look at the feedback that you have been given for improving your essays.  Remember, the good copy of your essay is due April 3rd. 

Homework:

Science - Answer write your answer to the question:  "Do nutrients and minerals get absorbed in the small intestine?  How do you know?"  - Use your articles to help you answer.  You need to read carefully through the information about the small and large intestine (due Friday).

Literacy - Please complete the rough drafts of your letters.  Please see the link below for the template that will help you.  (You can copy and paste the link)

Literacy - The good copy of your essay is due next Thursday April 3rd.  Please make sure you do the following in order to properly revise and edit your rough drafts...when I read your essays, these were things that I found many of us needed work on:

1.  Look at the comments I left for you on your essay in Google Drive.  Please make sure you make these changes.

2.  Correct wording, spelling and grammar.  Have an adult or someone older help you with this if you need it.  You can also come see me for help.

3.   Make sure that each paragraph stays on topic.  Make sure that every sentence has something to do with what you are arguing in that paragraph.

4.  Take out "I".  Do not refer to/talk about yourself in your essay.

5.  Make sure each of your arguments are actually persuasive.

6.  Let me know if you have not received feedback from me on your essay.  It is important that I see it.



Math -To prepare for your test, study the review we completed in class (p. 118, 119, 120 #1,3,4,6,9,12,13, 14, 15, 19, 21 in textbook).  The test is on Thursday.  See me tomorrow with any questions you may have.
