Literacy - Read & Reader's Notebook for 30 minutes.  Please remember that the purpose of this is to be able to work toward the reading goals that you have created for yourself.  (Due tomorrow)

Literacy- Please complete a sentence for each of the FANBOYS conjunctions.  Please make sure you include a comma to join the two simple sentences into a compound sentence.  If you have a hard time for one of the conjunctions, that is okay, but please do try your best to come up with one.  You could try typing the word in Google (ex. you could search "for conjunction").  (Due)

Friday Folders - Please have these returned and signed.  If you have lost your Friday Folder, please create a new one, put the work that was handed back in that folder, have your parents sign it to show that they have seen the work, and then please return to Mr. Carr (Due)

Geography -

  1. Please read chapter 8 and answer the following questions (Due Wednesday):
    1. Why is it so important to protect the Oak Ridges Moraine?  (p.168)
    2. On page 169, read section “Major River Systems” and explain what would happen to Canada if we had no rivers.
    3. Why do you think rivers always flow to oceans or other large bodies of water? (p.169)
    4. p.171 #2 - Use page 313 and the blank map of the world provided to you.
    5. Explain the difference between Dendritic & Trellis drainage patterns.  Make sure to include how each forms. (p. 176)
    6. P.177 & 178 #1, 2, 9

Health - Please create those 5 guidelines for respect (due Wednesday)

Literacy - Media Literacy Assignment (Due Friday)

Math - Please complete your integer maze (Due Friday)

Art - Self portrait (coloured in).  Task 2 (3 drawings) (Due Thursday)

Science - Separating Mechanical Mixtures Model (Due March 28)
