Literacy - You should be doing these entries every day they are on the blog....Read & Reader's Notebook for 30 minutes (another entry).  Please remember that the purpose of this is to be able to work toward the reading goals that you have created for yourself.  (Due tomorrow)

Lead On - Please complete the worksheet you were given by Mrs. Jiao.  (due Monday)

Geography -

1. 1. Read chapter #9 (pgs. 180-197)
   2. Have the students answer the following questions:
   1. Define and give an example for the following terms:
   1. Subsistence agriculture (p.184-186)
   2. Commercial agriculture (p.188-193)
   3. Specialized agriculture (p.193-195)
   2. p.196 #4a (p.190)
   3. You are in Walmart, and you hear a disgruntled shopper saying that bananas are way too expensive.  Please explain how you could politely explain to them the reasons for the price. (p.192)

   
   

Literacy - Media Literacy Assignment.  Please make sure you use the feedback provided for you in class.  It is very important that you go into detail (use more paper if necessary) to explain exactly what type of media texts you are going to use, how you are going to use them, what will be in them, why those things will be in them, etc.  Remember, when we say media texts, we are referring to things such as commercials, posters, social media, advertisements, etc.. (Due tomorrow)
