The only one that is asked to be signed and returned is the math test.  Thank you.



Please find your homework below....

Reading - Too many students do not have books to read during silent reading.  Please make sure you always have at least 1 book that you are excited to read here at school.  This should be an enjoyable part of your day, but it isn't when you don't have a book you want to read.

Health - Substance Abuse assignment (Due December 5)

Math - p.174 # 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 (Due Monday)


French - Futur proche test Wednesday

French - Parent sheet signed (Due Monday)

History - Please complete the Royal Proclamation, Quebec Act & American Revolution questions.  Please make sure to use details from the text to support your answers.  The answers are there....you just need to find them, but I gave you the page numbers so it should be much easier! (Due Thursday).

Science - Secondary succession task (due Friday)

Conferences - If your parents do not have a time to meet for student-led conferences, they can email me, write a note, or book on Edsby.  If they are having trouble with Edsby, they can email me and I will book one for them.  If any parents would like a translator, we would be happy to provide this.  Please let me know as soon as possible if this is something you would like.  Thank you :)

Dance - Research assignment due Tuesday.  Please refer to the assignment sheet I handed you.  Please make sure that your research and answers are very well explained with very good detail.  Tell me everything you can.  Show me you are an expert on what you researched.  (Due Tuesday)

A message about yearbooks......

Dear Parents/Guardians,                           

Making new friends and making memories with old friends are important parts of the school year.  
Help your child keep the fun and memories alive for years to come with a yearbook, a time capsule
of the events and people that made this year unique.

Last year marked our very first yearbook, and it was a HUGE success.  The majority of our families
ordered one. Rick Hansen Public School is pleased to announce that we will continue the yearbook
tradition started last year.  The cost for the 2018-2019 full-colour yearbook is $26.
