Important Date Change
Winter Electives
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Snow Valley Resort has recently notified us of an issue
which will affect our Winter Electives.
The long range forecast is calling for warmer winter
temperatures right into the new year.
Snow Valley Resort is concerned that they will not have enough snow for
their tubing hills and have asked us to change one of our dates.
The outing which was originally planned for Friday, January
8th (including the activity your child selected for this date) will now take
place on Monday, January, 25th. Our
January 14th outing is not affected.
If this date change affects your child's ability to
participate (e.g., you know ahead of time that your child will not be in school
on Monday, January 25th), please let your child’s homeroom teacher know. Similarly, if your child was not able to
participate on January 8th, but now can on account of this date change, please
let us know as we would be happy to add your child to the trip.

-Progress Report envelopes signed and returned please. We are trying to save paper by reusing the envelopes for the entire year.
Potluck - Please sign up by tomorrow for the potluck if you would like to contribute. I do not want anyone feeling pressured to contribute, but if we don't have enough sign ups by tomorrow morning, we will have to cancel the potluck. We will still have a class party, we just won't do the potluck portion. (due tomorrow)
Secret Santa - Back by popular demand! Gift limit is $5. Please have your gifts here for Thursday.
Health - Please have 3 very meaningful points to share with the class to show what you have learned for your question on healthy eating. (Due Thursday)
History - Please complete the question posted on Twitter about Quebec wanting to separate. (Due
History - Are your notes all up to date? If not, make sure all the homework questions that have been assigned are complete and in your duotang. You will have an open book test after Christmas.
French - Please get parents to sign form saying they saw the work sent home. I advise you complete this task prior to the break. (Due January 7th)
Science - Make sure you are keeping up with the assignments on Mrs. Foster's outline sheet.
-Friday Folders signed and returned.
-Last day of candy cane sales is tomorrow.
-Friday is wear green & red day :)
-If you have an overdue library book, please make sure to return it to the library as soon as possible. Thank you :)
-Please make sure you always have an age appropriate book to enjoy reading at school.
